💡 In short: kaaen.ai digital employees have designed or consented faces and synthetic, never cloned, voices, and every visitor knows they are talking to AI.
Are kaaen.ai digital employees the faces of real people?
No. Faces in the kaaen.ai library are digitally designed and generated and do not belong to real people. A face taken from a real person enters the library only under a contract and their written consent to the use of their likeness.
- We keep the consent record for every licensed face. The person may withdraw consent, and we then stop using their face for new digital employees.
- Library faces are licensed for use inside kaaen.ai only and may not be extracted or used outside the platform.
Can a digital employee be made with a real person's face?
Yes, on one condition: documented written consent from that person to use their likeness for a specific digital employee and a specific organization. We do not accept photos of people who have not consented, and public figures only with their official licence.
- Consent stays tied to the organization and purpose it names and does not carry over to other uses.
- We offer no tool that lets users upload and animate anyone's face, and no face swapping.
Do you clone voices?
No. kaaen.ai digital employees use ready-made synthetic voices from established providers. We do not clone any real person's voice.
- We do not store recordings of your visitors' voices or use them to create voices.
Do visitors know they are talking to AI?
Yes. Every digital employee is presented as a "digital employee", its instructions forbid it from claiming to be human, and it answers honestly when asked. Our customers must not hide this from their audience.
- This follows the transparency principle in Article 50 of the EU AI Act: people interacting with an AI system should know it.
- No customer may instruct its digital employee to deny being AI; we suspend any digital employee that does.
Which uses are prohibited?
kaaen.ai digital employees may not be used for anything that deceives people, harms them or violates their rights.
- Impersonating a real person, or creating a digital employee with their likeness or voice without consent.
- Hiding that a digital employee is AI, or claiming it is human.
- Any sexual, pornographic or abusive content, or content directed at minors. Absolutely prohibited.
- Deception and fraud, impersonating government bodies or businesses, and misleading advertising.
- Political disinformation or misleading influence on elections.
- Automated decisions that affect people (such as hiring or credit) without human review.
- Collecting visitor data for any purpose other than the one disclosed to them.
Is AI trained on our organization's data?
No. We do not train or fine-tune any model on your organization's knowledge or its visitors' conversations. Text is sent to the language model only to generate the answer.
What if a digital employee gets something wrong?
A digital employee answers from your organization's knowledge, and when it cannot find the information it says so instead of guessing. AI can still make mistakes, so it is an assistant, not the basis for a binding medical, legal or financial decision.
- The owner of a digital employee can review conversations and correct its knowledge at any time.
How do I report misuse?
Email legal@kaaen.ai with the digital employee's link and a description of the problem. We reply within 5 business days and suspend the digital employee immediately if impersonation or abusive content is confirmed.
- If your face or voice is being used without your consent, say so in your message and we will treat it as a priority.
